Deer 665 migrates from Wilson, WY to the Red Desert

This fall Wyoming Migration Initiative posted an animation and migration tracking updates for a new yearling doe known as Deer 665. Next to Deer 255 mentioned in this article, she is only the second deer ever known to migrate from the Red Desert to Idaho. Point to point, Deer 665 moved about 166 miles to her summer range near Wilson, and including exploratory movements in Idaho, she traveled 223 miles.
